4-H’ers represent Estill county at Shooting Sports Invitational

August 7, 2015 by admin

The Estill County 4-H Program hosted its first Shooting Sports Invitational Saturday with 46 youth from eight counties (Estill, Madison, Morgan, Lewis, Nicholas, Boone, Elliot, and Rowan) participating, 13 of those from Estill County. The Estill county participants did an excellent job representing our county, placing in the top three in every division they competed in. Hunter Flynn won the 9-11 year old division, Micah Adams won the 12-14 year old 50 target division, Ben Lay won the 12-14 year old 100 target division, Austin Garber placed second in the 15-18 year old 50 target division, and Cameron Thomas, Samantha Thomas, Austin Garber, Tyler Howell, and Lenard Young won the 15-18 year old team division.
