Lonnie Watters, 76
Lonnie Eugene Watters, 76, husband of Clarenetta Henderson Watters, died Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009 at the Pattie A. Clay Regional Medical Center. He was born in McCreary County on Nov. 26, 1932 to the late Willie and Rose Coil Watters. He was a retired teacher having taught in many counties throughout Kentucky. He was a member of Anchor Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Clarenetta Watters; two sons, Keith Watters and wife Patti, and Benjamin Watters and wife Becky, all of Martinsburg, Ind.; three daughters, Jill Meece and husband David of Somerset, Julie Keith and husband John of Cookeville, Tenn., and Anne Jensen and husband Jeff of Lynchburg, Va.; one brother, Ottis Watters and wife Lila of Charleston, S.C.; two sisters, Christine Watson of Beaver Dam, and Barbara Sue Hill and husband Roger of Chattanooga, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren, Steven Watters and wife Amber, Rosa Snapp and husband Shawn, Lauren Jenning and husband Jeff, Josiah Watters, Kelsey Meece, Joseph Keith, Joshua Keith, Jenna Keith, Jeffrey Jensen, Nathan Jensen; one great-granddaughter, Chloe Watters; and two more great-grandchildren on the way.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Josh, Chester, Paul and Leroy Watters; and three sisters, Ruby Watters, Pearl Tapley and Norma Jean Cress.
A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009 at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Carroll officiating.

Arnold Harrison, 88
Arnold C. Harrison, 88, of Hillcrest Drive, Winchester, husband of Naomi S. Harrison, died Friday at Clark Regional Medical Center, Winchester. He was born May 21, 1928 in Estill County, a son of the late Vernon Harrison and Rebecca Rawlins Harrison. He was a Mason and member of 233 Right Angle Lodge, Trapp and a Kentucky Colonel. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Tommy D.T. Harrison, Elmer Harrison, James Harrison and Sterling Harrison; two sisters Theda Reedy, and Peggy Eloise Harrison.
Survivors in addition to his wife Naomi include four daughters Linda (Jay) Hall of Winchester, Brenda Barnett of Lexington, Judy Adams of Lexington, Diane (Gene) Baily of Winchester; a son Chuck (Sharon) Harrison of Winchester; seven grandchildren Cindy Barnett of Tupelo Miss., Chris Barnett of Florence, Charles Aaron (Jenny) Adams of Lexington, Allison (Chris) Bates of Lexington, Wes (Miranda) Harrison of Winchester, April Harrison of Winchester, Patrick Bailey of Lexington; five great-grandchildren Chas Adams of Lexington, Grace Adams of Lexington, Madison Bates of Lexington, Caleb Harrison of Winchester and Camdyn Harrison of Winchester.
Services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday including Masonic Rites at Lewis Funeral Home with Bro. Glendon Woosley officiating with burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens, will military rites.
Robert C Roberts, 88
Robert C. Roberts, 88, Richmond Road, Irvine, husband of Milly J. Roberts, died Friday at Kenwood House, Richmond. He was born March 27, 1921 in Estill County, a son of the late John Evan Roberts and Anna Mae Stevens Roberts. He was a member of the Rice Station Christian Church. He was a Mason and member of Irvine Lodge #137 F&AM for over 50 years, a member of Scottish Rites, and a of Olekia Temple, Cadillac Local 22 and a Kentucky Colonel. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Betty Gilbert, Zelma Spangler, and Nell Hockensmith; one brother, John Roberts.
Survivors in addition to his wife Milly include two brothers David (Irene) Roberts and Samuel (Josephine) Roberts; several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
Services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Lewis Funeral Home by Bro. Kirt Scott.
Pallbearers were Mike Collins Sr., Mike Collins Jr, Bob Collins, Mike Brady, Darrel Dixon, Audrey Miller, Clayton Angel.
Bonnie Isaacs, 85
Bonnie Ray Isaacs, 85, Winchester, formerly of Estill County, died Thursday, Nov. 12, 2009 at the Fountain Circle Health and Rehabilitation Center after a long illness. He was born May 6, 1924 in Estill County, the son of the late Isaac Isaacs and Mollie Alcorn Isaacs. He had been an auto mechanic and had lived in Estill County most of his life.
Survivors include one brother, Everett Isaacs; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Hazel Murphy and Beulah Moore; five brothers, Roy, Arnold, Glendon, Cecil and Delbert Isaacs.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009 at 1 p.m. at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Lonnie Isaacs with burial at the Williams Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Terry Young, Nick Stinnett, Jimmy Cox, Richard Bryant, John Barker and Everett Murphy.
Gordon Williams, 92
Gordon R. Williams, 92, Richmond Road, Irvine, died Friday, Nov. 13, 2009 at the Irvine Health & Rehabilitation Center after a short illness. He was born April 9, 1917 in Estill County, the son of the late Willis and Winnie Kate Masters Williams. He was a retired insurance salesman with the Lincoln Income Life Insurance Company, and he was also retired from the L&N Railroad. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Laura Rhodes Williams; a brother, Lawrence Williams; and a nephew, C.P. Williams.
Survivors include his daughter, Doris Ann Moore and husband Larry of Lancaster; three step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Nov. 15 15 2 p.m. at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Keith Sands with burial at West Irvine Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Mike Moore, John Stallons, Eric Miller, Keith Wilson, Bill Moore, and Marvin Bybee. Honorary pallbearers were David Wilson, Troy Miller, Bob Rhodes, Jerry Elliott and Bob Webb.
