A grocery store clerk and three customers were allegedly caught on tape recently stealing more than $500 worth of groceries.
Amber Landsaw, 23, of South Irvine Road was working as a cashier at the Irvine Stop and Shop when she allegedly allowed Brian Crim, Brandy Crim and Theresa Henry, all of South Irvine Road, to take items out of the store without paying for them.
Estill County Deputy Sheriff Russell Morris arrested the four people on Sunday Oct. 25, charging them with theft by unlawful taking over $300, a Class D felony.
Morris stated on his report that he has video evidence showing that during a period between June 1 and Sept. 28 of 2009, Landsaw allegedly rang up sales on her cash register for Henry, Brian and Brandy Crim, then voided the sales allowing them to leave without paying, taking the grocery items with them.
The tape also allegedly shows Landsaw giving the three co-defendants money out of her cash register.
All four defendants were lodged in the Estill County Jail.
