Drip Rock Baptist
There will be a singing Saturday, Oct. 24 at Drip Rock Baptist Church beginning at 6 p.m. Featured singers will be The Voices of Praise. Everyone is invited to attend.
Wisemantown United Methodist Church will celebrate Autumn Fest Saturday, Oct. 24 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. There will be activities for all ages. Free pumpkins for kids (while they last), inflatable slide, face painting, storytelling, games, or picture taken on a fire engine. There will be a quilt and knife show, plenty of food; free hot dogs and chips for lunch and bowl of soup beans or chili for supper; and much more. The Berea College Dancers will be there and a concert by Simply His will be in the evening, and old time instruments as the mandolin, hammered and mountain dulcimer. Everyone is invited.
Calvary Baptist Church will be hosting a “Fall Festival” on Wednesday, Oct. 28 from 6 to 7 p.m. There will be stories, crafts, food and “trunk or treat” in the parking lot. Everyone is welcome, no scary costumes please.
New Life Apostolic

Folk Mountain Gospel
Folk Mountain Gospel consists of Don and Donna Mohl of Fair Grove, MO.
Their unique style of music blends biblical and traditional instruments such as hammered dulcimer, bowed psaltery, zither,mountain dulcimer, mandolin, guitar and bass guitar with their voices to provide a “down-home” family-oriented message of Jesus’ love and grace.
Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy some folk mountain music and heart-warming stories designed to encourage and inspire. A love offering will be received and CDs, DVDs and hand-crafted, biblical musical instruments will be available for sale after the program.
They will be performing as follows: Wisemantown United Methodist Church, Irvine, Saturday, Oct. 24, 6:30 p.m., and Ravenna Christian Church, Sunday, Oct. 25, 6:30 p.m.
South Irvine Baptist
There will be revival at South Irvine Baptist Church Oct. 22, 23, 24 at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 11 a.m. Speakers will Thursday, Keith Murray from Island City; Friday, David Brown from Independence; Saturday, Steve Wainwright from Lexington; Sunday, 11 a.m. Richard Adams from Beattyville. House of Prayer
There will be a gospel singing at the House of Prayer, 535 Dark Hollow Road, Irvine, on Saturday, Oct. 24 at 7 p.m. Singers will be the Praise Singers and others. Refreshments will be served afterward. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Faith Baptist Church will host a community singing on Saturday Nov. 7 at 7 p.m. Everyone is invited. Anyone wanting to sing during the service must contact Pastor Todd Blevins by Nov. 1 at 723-3020.
Williams Memorial Baptist
Williams Memorial Baptist Church, Ravenna, will have their 86th annual homecoming service Oct. 25. Former member, Bro. Gordon Sparks of Mt. Sterling will be bringing the message. Sunday School, 9:45 a.m., worship 10:50 a.m.; fellowship meal 12:30 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend.
St. Elizabeth Catholic
The annual ham supper will be held at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Fifth Street, Ravenna, on Wednesday, Oct. 28 from 5-7 p.m. for dining in and 4-7 for carry outs. The menu is ham, potatoes, green beans, fruit, roll, dessert and a beverage. Remember to shop at the Country Store which will be open from 4-7 p.m. Tickets are $5 and may be purchased from any church member or at the door. Door prizes will be awarded. Please join us as we continue this community tradition for the 63rd year.

There will be a benefit singing at Full Gospel Evangelistic Ministry for J.R. and Patty Turner family Saturday, Oct. 24 at 1 p-.m. Featured singers will be The Doan Family, Full Gospel Singers, Debbie Pelphrey. Pastor Larry Collins welcome everyone.
