Fox arrrested on drug charges
Jennifer L. Fox, 31, of Church House Hill , was arrested by District One Constable Danny Conrad last Wednesday and charged with three drug related offenses.
Conrad’s citation states that he was called to 106 Court Street to investigate a woman slumped over the steering wheel of a black 2003 Chevrolet behind an apartment building.
The citation states that when Conrad spoke to Fox, he noticed a blue powdery substance coming out of her nose and on her face. Conrad stated she told him she had snorted Xanas and Saboxin and admitted to driving the car to her location.
Conrad stated on the citation that the car motor was still warm.
Conrad took Fox to Marcum & Wallace Memorial Hospital for a blood test and asked her if she had anything on her person that she needed to tell him about before he took her to jail and she said no.
She also denied having anything on her person when she was asked by the female jailer at the Estill County Jail. While searching her the jail allegedly discovered a needle hidden near her abdomen.
Fox was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs, first offense; first degree promoting contraband; and possession of drug paraphernalia.
