Estill County Judge-Executive Wallace Taylor was given a surprise birthday party last week to celebrate his 50th birthday. The surprise was on his staff when he arrived early, before most of the invited guests. Cake and punch was served to the guests and he blew candles out on a small cake with the words “Happy Birthday Bull Whisperer.” He told the story of how he got that name , but if you want to hear it, you’ll have to ask him. He was given a “senior basket” and other age appropriate gifts. He declared “You got me!”
