Engineers fall short on senior night 39-12

The Estill County Engineers played host to the Garrard County Lions last Friday night. After the senior night introductions, the game was set. However the “Big Blue” couldn’t hold off the Lions and suffered a 39-12 loss.
The game started off pretty close with Garrard County scoring a touchdown early in the first quarter, but Estill’s Trevor Charles pounded back scoring a touchdown shortly after. Estill then successfully kicked an onside kick giving them possession of the ball back, however Estill would fumble the ball on the first play of this drive.
Estill would go on to score one more touchdown in the first half and wouldn’t score in the second half.
The Big Blue will play at Walton-Verona next week for the last game of the 2011 season.
