Kentucky State Police
On August 3, KSP Post 7 arrested Jefferey Noe, 39, Ravenna, for assault, first degree and assault, fourth degree. The charges stem from an altercation that occured at 648 Dark Hollow Rd. in Irvine. Noe allegedly assaulted his wife, Jaime Noe, causing minor injuries and then assaulted Jaimie Woolery causing significant facial injuries. KSP are investigating whether Woolery’s injuries were the result of being hit with a cinder block. The condition of Woolery is unknown at press time, but he was flown to UK hospital.
Irvine Police Department
Chief Brad Smith responded to a theft at Jimmy Webb’s apartments in Irvine last week. Larry Morgan, a resident of the apartments, reported several knives and related items stolen from his apartment. The following items were reported stolen: a six inch K-Bar with black and brown wooden handle, rings and a black blade along with a brown sheath, a four-and-a-half inch stag-handled knife with a nickel plated blade and a light brown sheath, a stag-handled letter opener with a wooden stand, a black handled combat knife, brass knuckles and a WWII bayonet with a wooden handle. If anyone has information concerning these items you are asked to call the Irvine Police Department.
Estill County Sheriff’s Office
On July 26, Deputy Russell “Doc” Morris responded to a burglary reported by Daesha Miller on Stump Road. According to the police citation, the perpetrator pried open a window on the back side of the home to gain entry. The suspect removed from the home two jewelry boxes containing jewelry, several individual items of jewelry and a case containing important paperwork.
On July 29, Steven Stamper, 36, South Winn Avenue, was arrested by Deputy Randy Farthing for menacing and public intoxication.
On July 31, Charles Overbee, 44, Sandhill, was arrested by Deputy Farthing for assault fourth degree domestic.
On August 3, Ricky Richardson, 43, was arrested by Deputy Morris on a Lee County Circuit Court Warrant.
On August 3, Nekea Rose, 29, New Fox Road, was arrested by Deputy Morris for burglary first and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Rose allegedly broke into the residence at 225 New Fox Rd and removed several firearms and a small safe.
On August 5, William A. Kelly, 20, Pea Ridge, was arrested for public intoxication, controlled substance.
