Shannon Hardy, 26, Jaquiline Court, is charged with second degree escape and second degree fleeing or evading police. While leaving Marcum & Wallace Memorial Hospital with a deputy jailer, Hard fled on foot into the woods. He was later recovered on Wall Street following a foot chase with officers from the IDP, ECSO, RPD and Constable Danny Conrad. Hardy’s court date was set for July 13.

Brandon Walling, 35, Ravenna, is charged with three counts of first degree wanton endangerment. According to the arrest warrant served by Deputy Sheriff Randy Farthing, Linda Durham reported that Walling swerved at her vehicle in an attempt to run her out of the road. Durham had two minor children in her car at the time. First degree wanton endangerment is a Class D felony. Bond was set at $7,500. Walling is set to appear in court on July 6.
