Tracy Camden, 53
Tracy Camden, 53, of Main Street in Ravenna, died Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at his home following a long illness. He was born Feb. 11, 1958, in Estill County and was the son of the late Charles and Nora Johnson Camden. He had lived in Estill County all of his life and attended the Holiness Church. He was preceded in death by one brother, Marshall Richard Crowe.
Survivors include four sisters, Shirley Fowler of Irvine, Rosalie Kash of Ohio, Josephine Stewart and husband Dewayne of Winchester and Kathleen Neal and husband Charles of Ravenna.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, March 12, 2011, at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Jerry Rose. Burial was at the Johnson Cemetery. Pallbearers were Terry Camden, Christopher Camden, Christopher Darbyshire, Jeremy Smith, Steve Miller, and Dawayne Marcum.
James A. Stevenson Jr., 89
James A. Stevenson Jr., 89, of Ben Hunt Road in Irvine, died Friday, March 11, 2011, at his home following a short illness. He was born Sept. 17, 1921, in Winston, and was the son of the late James A. Stevenson, Sr., and Eliza McLaughlin Stevenson. He was a retired employee of Uncle Charlie’s where he worked as a mechanic. He was a United States Army veteran of World War II and was a member of the VFW and the American Legion. He had lived in Estill County most of his life. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Zula Ball and Agnes Pearson.
Survivors include his wife, Cordelia Winkle Stevenson; two daughters, Janice Barrett and husband, Kelly of Richmond and Charlene Haggard and husband, Jr., of Irvine; a son, Quinn Stevenson and wife, Cindy of Irvine; three brothers, Joel Stevenson of Irvine, Dan Stevenson of Camden, Ohio and Wayne Stevenson of Irvine; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, March 13, 2011 at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Ronald Lutes. Burial was at the Turpin Cemetery. Pallbearers were Michael Haggard, Tony Durbin, Ryan Haggard, Seth Newton, Dustin Stevenson and Troy Rose.
