Millers Creek Church of God
Millers Creek Church of God friends and family day and wild game cookout Saturday, Oct. 10 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. we will have bear,bison,deer,elk,fish,wild turkey,wild hog and veggies plus dessert and drinks make plans to attend there will be fun and games for the family and good gospel music. Pastor MerleTravis welcomes everyone.

First Baptist
The annual homecoming celebration at First Baptist Church, 351 Broadway, will be Sunday, Sept. 27. Bro. Raymond Flynn, former interim pastor (1984-87) will be the guest speaker. He pastored in Rockcastle and Jackson counties for many years. He is a native of Estill and now resides in Brodhead. Sunday School begins at 10 a.m. and worship is at 11 a.m. A potluck meal follows. All family and friends of Bro. Flynn, as well as any former members are invited to attend.

Heidelberg Baptist
There will be a revival at Heidelberg Baptist Church Oct. 5-7 at 7 p.m. There will be special singing each night with evangelist Wayne House. Everyone is welcome to attend.

New Life Apostolic
A special revival service will be at New Life Apostolic Church, 2502 Richmond Road, Irvine Sept. 27 at 6 p.m. A pre-service prayer will be at 5:45 p.m. The speaker will be Rev. Karl Causey of Leakesville, Miss. Everyone is welcome. For transportation call 726-9631.

Calvary Baptist
Revival services will be held at Calvary Baptist Church Sept. 27-30 with Bro. Joe Mobley preaching. Services will be Sunday, 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.; Monday-Wednesday 7 p.m. Everyone is invited.

Providence Baptist
There will be homecoming Sunday, Sept. 27 at Providence Baptist Church at Winston beginning at 10:30 a.m. Guest speaker will be Bro. Tommy Thomas of Rosehill, Va. A meal will be served immediately following the service. Join us for an afternoon of fun and fellowship.

Drip Rock Baptist
There will be a singing at Drip Rock Baptist Church Saturday, Sept. 26 at 6 p.m. Featured singers will be Roy and Kaye Hines. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Old Time Baptist
Old Time Baptist Church at Little Doe Creek, will have a homecoming service on Sunday. Sept. 27. Singing service will begin at 10 a.m., then preaching. A pitch-in dinner will follow the service. Pastor Jerry Chaney invites all singers and instrument players. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Harg First Church of God
Harg First Church of God will have special singing on Friday, Oct. 2 at 7 p.m. Special singers will be Kentucky Mountain Trio from Pine Knot. Everyone is welcome. Pastor Henry Johnson and the congregation invite everyone to join them in worship.

South Irvine Christian
South Irvine Christian Church will be in revival Sept. 28 through Oct. 2 at 7 p.m. each night. Monday and Tuesday, Bro. John McCord; Wednesday and Thursday, Bro. J.C. Dunsil; Friday, Bro. Johnnie Bowen. There will be special singing each night. Bro. Mike Chism and the congregation invite everyone to attend. Homecoming will be Oct. 5. A meal will be served after the morning services.

Wisemantown United Methodist Church
The Wisemantown United Methodist Church, 1358 Wisemantown Road, Irvine, will celebrate its 117th anniversary on Sunday, Sept. 27 during the homecoming service. Rev. Jim Riley, pastor from 1966-1969, will preach during the morning worship service at 10:30 a.m. The church choir will sing the special, “Built On The Rock.” Also the old time hymns that have meant so much during the years will be sung along with solo and duet specials sung by members of the church. A pot luck meal will be served at noon in the church basement. For more information contact Francine Bonny 723-5694.

White Oak Church of God
White Oak Church of God will host special services Sept. 24-25 at 7 p.m. Irvine native Tom Williams will deliver the nightly messages. Services will conclude on Sunday morning with special singing by Higher Ground from Cincinnati, Ohio. An old fashioned meal will be served following the Sunday morning singing. Everyone is invited.
