Beulah Crowe, 65
Beulah Marie Kirby Crowe, 65, Winchester Road, Irvine, died Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at the Select Specialty Hospital in Lexington after a short illness. She was born Sept. 23, 1944 in Estill County, the daughter of the late Willie and Anna Florence Edmonson Kirby. She was a homemaker and had lived in Estill County all of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Eugene Crowe; a sister, Rachel Kirby Woolery; and one brother, Simp Kirby.
Survivors include one daughter, Amanda Crowe of Mt. Vernon; two sons, Carl Crowe and Robert Crowe, both of Estill County; two sisters, Freda Johnson and Lula Morris, both of Estill County; one brother Albert Kirby of Estill County; and four grandchildren, Chris Crowe, Brandon Crowe, Matthew Bullock and Makaylah Bullock.
Funeral services were conducted Thursday, March 18 at 1 p.m. at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Sherl Thomas with burial at the Kirby Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Lloyd Woolery, James Woolery, William Woolery, Vernon Dunn, Dylan Farthing and Martin Overbay.
Dennis Strong, 54
Dennis Edward Strong, 54, of Westmoreland, Tenn., died Saturday, March 20, 2010 at his residence. He is survived by his wife Barbara Strong of Westmoreland, Tenn.; a sister, Londa Strong of North Carolina; three brothers-in-law, Tony (Donna) Sewell, Kenny (Kay) Sewell and Delmar (Gina) Sewell, all of Kentucky; six nieces; and one nephew; seven great nieces; and one great nephew.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, March 22, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Jubilee Worship Center, Westmoreland by Bro. Leroy Crouch with burial at Eulia Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Matt Scholl, Gene Hauskins, Tracy Bray, William Shockley, Mike Compton, Gordon Farley, Kyle Gregory and Bobby Clark. Honorary pallbearers were Leland Amos Moses Bray, and Tennessee #1 Odd Fellows, Banner #6 Rebekah.
