Local businesses reported that Small Business Saturday was a success.  

Businesses ran special sales and some gave away prizes, such as Meade’s Do-It Center, which presented checks for two $500 shopping sprees on Saturday.  

The winners were Danielle Crouch and Frank Flynn.

In addition to brick and mortar businesses, small vendors put together a vendor fair at the fairbarn. They also reported a successful event.
