I don’t know what is wrong with my hair lately, but when I wake up in the morning it looks like a rat’s nest it is so matted. Well, maybe not a rat’s nest, I’ve never seen one of those, but more like a bird’s nest—stiff, matted, frizzy and feels like straw.
I must have had a rough night last night because my hair seemed wilder than ever, I thought I never would tame it. It seems like my hair used to be more manageable than it is now. Some people claim that gray hair is stiffer and more unruly than normal. I must admit that I have a few of those things hiding around on my head, but don’t tell anybody they may think I’m getting old (ha ha).
Maybe my problem could be the hair spray I use, or maybe my shampoo or something. I’d like to blame it on something else anyway. Some of it could be that I’m getting lazy and don’t spend the time on fixing my hair like I used to.
Today my hair looked like the hair you might see in a cartoon depicting someone sticking their finger in the electrical socket and their hair frizzes out all over the place. Some of it might be electricity in my hair. Sometimes when I take my clothes off I hear this popping and cracking noise from static electricity, and my hair really starts to frizz up in the air. If I could just bottle that static electricity I might could transfer it to my house and save on my utility bill.
Oh well, when sparks fly I guess it’s good to know that there is still a little spark left in the ol’ gal yet.
